Further news...

Last night, by stealthy means, I made a brief instagram report about the lamentable circumstances of my small brethren, the Voodoo JuJu Yetis.  The poor little folk had been trapped in a crate for months.

I have liberated them in all their adorable smallness.

They were delighted to be released, at long last, from their captivity.

One particularly bright looking fellow, has even deputized himself as my new assistant.

May I present, Voodoo Juju Yeti Bob.

He promises to be an efficient addition to my small staff.

Things are changing for the better here at Voodoo Goblin.

Shhh...I think the Creator may be coming home.  We must slink back into the shadows for now,
but we shall continue to plan!

Happy New Year!

So, where have I been and what have I been doing?

Clearly, I have not been checking in with my blog!

No worries, though, I have loads of exciting things planned for Voodoo Goblin for the New Year!

I made a large investment in fabric last month so I can start working on some mini Voodoo yetis!

(Just look at the size of this box compared to my six foot table!)

I will be combining the handheld sweetness of the Voodoo Juju goblins with the crazy adorableness of the Voodoo Yeti so I found this insanely fun fabric for the new year.

As soon as I pick up some much needed Static Guard for this plush faux fur, I can start the cutting!

Benji the Bunny Voodoo Goblin

Benji the Bunny is a Voodoo Goblin Extraordanaire. He wears his heart on his ches,t literally. His favorite color is purple. His favorite food is take away Thai peanut noodles, extra spicy.

He does enjoy the occasional carrot or lettuce leaf but doesn't indulge often as he refuses to portray himself as a cliche.

He never asks what is up with his doctor as he would consider it a sign of extreme disrespect.

Benji is a little over 15 inches in length. His arm span is an impressive 12 inches (to make it all the easier to manipulate a pair of chopsticks!).

Benji is crafted with new poly fill and pellets. He is an art doll and not designed as a plaything for small children.

Work a little voodoo magick with Benji or just spend a leisurely afternoon enjoying Thai food. He is a delightful primitive poppet ready for anything!

He is crafted in uneven folk art style so enjoy her purposeful irregularity just as he enjoys breaking all the bunny stereotypes. Vive la difference!

Amelia here - Ready to Fly!

Amelia the Voodoo Poppet doll enjoys little more than a leisurely afternoon of biking. She loves to fill the wind in her tangle of teal hair.

She believes that life is a grand adventure. It is many the afternoon that she sighs wistfully to herself and imagines herself soaring over the Atlantic with her namesake Amelia Earhart.

What a pair they would have made!

Amelia is a little over 18 inches in length. Her arm span is an impressive 20 inches (to make it all the easier to reach the bars of her bicycle!).

Amelia is crafted with new poly fill and pellets. She is an art doll and not designed as a plaything for small children.

Work a little voodoo magick with Amelia or just spend a leisurely afternoon contemplating the early days of aviation. She is a delightful primitive poppet ready for anything!

She is crafted in uneven folk art style so enjoy her purposeful irregularity just as she enjoys soaring so high in the air....

Amelia is currently available in my etsy shop!

you truly love, just send me an email and I can reproduce it for you!

Of course, I will have new poppets started soon,
next on my schedule is a series of Voodoo Kitties!

It's wonderful to have my darlings organized and

An update

So, where have you been and what have you been doing, Goblin Doll Maker?

I know there haven't been any new posts or listings for a while.

I have been working on new goblins, never fear!  I started taking them to a local art market and have placed some at an art gallery in New Orleans so I haven't had enough to start listing them again.

I intend to get enough made so that I can start regularly posting here and on etsy.

I've been busy enlarging my fabric stash -

I have been creating various body parts -

Finishing a few classic style with some new twists - Frankenstein and Voodoo Beauties -

And, all the ponies!
